Samsung SGH-F480

Last week, Samsung has announced a slew of new phones at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. One of which is the SGH-F480. F480 is a stylish slim candy bar mobile phone with combination of brushed aluminum and glossy black for the finishing.

The F480 really looks similar with PRADA phone. The F480 can stand next to the Prada and Armani phones with its head high up as it definitely looks great.Samsung SGH-F480s is a 3.5G capable device supporting HSDPA high speed data downloads of up to 7.2 Mbps. It also supports standard 3G (UMTS), GPRS and EDGE data, but it does not support WiFi. SAMSUNG Unveils Wide Touch Screen Multimedia Phone; The SAMSUNG F490

Two upcoming Samsung phones, the F490 and P720, were unveiled at some press event in the Ukraine a little while ago. These two fully touchscreen handset has been announced for release in early 2008.

Samsung F490 is a full touchscreen and slimline smart mobile phone with a silver exterior and 3.2 inches 240×432 pixels display. It has a 5 megapixel digital camera, tactile feedback and HSDPA connectivity. It doesn't seem to have a keyboard and looks like a direct competitor to Apple's iPhone.

The 3.2 inches TFT display will also be able to send you a signal touch on your finger when you select something on the menu at the terminal.

Nokia N95

I have wrote about Nokia N95 last year. 1 year later, Nokia introduces their enhanced version of Nokia N95 with the same name Nokia N95 8GB. The 8GB Nokia N95 brings a plethora of internal memory to an already powerful smartphone.

The new Nokia N95 is an all-black mini storage machine which features a larger, 2.8-inch QVGA non-touch screen. It’s slightly bigger compared to the old N95. It is still a beast of a mobile weighing you down to the tune of 128g and measuring 53mm wide and 21mm thick. It is 99mm tall and when you open the slider to get at the number pad it grows to a staggering 130mm. If you are looking for neatness and slim handphone, this is definately out of your choice.It also comes with camera lens cover to make way for a larger battery. In addition, the Symbian device continues to offer integrated GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 5-megapixel camera, and dedicated music controls. N95 8GB remains it’s ‘dual slider’ concept. The number pad slides out of one end, and out of the other, a bank of four buttons for controlling music playback.

Thanks to the huge library of built-in software, 8GB of flash memory (plus another 100MB for messages, ringtones, images, video clips, calendar, to do lists and apps), the N95 8GB does come the closest I’ve seen yet to Nokia’s aspiration of putting a real computer in your pocket.

sony ericsson R300

Sony Ericsson manufactures some pretty nifty audio-heavy handsets. The R300 Radio and R306 Radio are 2 latest addition to their growing stable of cell phones.

The Sony Ericsson R300 Radio is a smart looking and inexpensive candy bar phone that doubles as a very small portable FM/AM radio. The R300 is aimed at those customers who either don’t want a phone with an MP3 player or can’t afford one.

It’s a simple phone and has a basic 128 x 160 pixel display, a 0.3 megapixel resolution (VGA) camera, a WAP browser and Bluetooth. As you can see from the name, the handset have plenty to do with radios, enabling the user to tune-in to their favorite radio show on both AM and FM broadcasts.
The handset support of TrackID which allow user to know what song they’re listening to and by whom was it sung in an instant. They can record a clip of a song from an external source, such as a sound system in a coffee shop or bar, and find out within seconds who sang it, the name of the track and which album it is from.

An Audio Enhancer key allows you to activate volume boost when listening to the radio through the speakers or experience 3D sound enhancement when you groove via the stereo headset. With the R300 Radio you can listen-in via the stereo headphones provided or ‘play it loud’ thanks to the high performance speaker integrated into the phone.

Sony Ericsson say that the R300 should be available during Q2 2008, but did not give any guidance on price.
